New Music Coming from Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso | TURN UP THE BASS

Former Swedish House Mafia members Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso will be releasing new music together without old pal Steve Angello.  The photo above what just posted to Axwell’s social media accounts with the text: “Finishing what we started – this time we can’t go home – Axwell /\ Ingrosso” & Seb’s socials with the text:  “New Music on the horizon- this time we can’t go home Axwell /\ Ingrosso.”  SHM famously disbanded in 2012, going on the world-wide One Last Tour, leading up to their final performance at Ultra Music Festival Miami.

In the Swedish House Mafia’s recent documentary ‘Leave the World Behind’ Sebastian Ingrosso said, “A lot of things happened this year and made me realize, we’re not best friends anymore, and that’s the truth.”

Steve Angello spoke about the reason behind the break-up in a recent interview with Huffington Post saying, “I think we felt like it had become a very big machine.  I think the pressure…It just wasn’t having fun anymore.  It was this humongous monster.  We felt like tired.  Swedish House Mafia was never something planned, it was just like, we’re three guys, let’s do this and have fun and throw parties and have a blast.  So we just thought, “You know what?  Let’s end this.”

Last year Axwell told In The Mix a SHM reunion was unlikely saying “No, I don’t think so…It’s hard to say, but that’s how it is now – I mean, we just stopped…I haven’t really started to miss Swedish House Mafia yet, because it’s only been so short.  But I’m sure if I had stopped everything then I think I’d be pretty devastated.”

You can catch Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso this summer at Ushuaia Ibiza for the return of Departures.  In the meantime grab your free download below of “We Come We Rave We Love” by Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso from One Last Tour.
