10 Things You Didn't Know About Fedde Le Grand | TURN UP THE BASS

Fedde Le Grand is a man who needs little introduction. The Dutch house pioneer shot to international fame in 2006 with the track “Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit” and has been rocking dance floors worldwide ever since. Read on to learn 10 things you didn’t know about Fedde Le Grand!

Michael Jackson is his favorite musician of all time.  ‘Thriller’ was the first record he ever bought.

In 2008 Madonna hand-picked Fedde to remix her track “Give It 2 Me.”   You can buy it in the iTunes Store HERE.

Fedde is from Breda, the same town as Hardwell and Tiësto.

will.i.am is a huge fan.  In 2008 he asked Fedde to remix one of his tracks called “The Donk Song.”  Fedde said he would as long as he’d do a track with him for his album ‘Output.’ will.i.am agreed and soon after flew out to Ibiza when Fedde was playing at Pacha to do a live PA.

In 2006 Fedde made the music for a Playstation 2 racing game called Cyclone Circus Fedde had to create music for each of the different countries the races took place in.

His parents made him take-up ball-room dancing as a kid.
