Honestly what’s there not to love about Yardbird Southern Table and Bar. This Southern-dining establishment is nestled just off of trendy Lincoln Road Mall in South Beach. Known for their incredible selection of bourbon and finger-lickin’ good Southern bites, Yardbird will impress any guest. Yardbird has one of the largest bourbon collections in Miami and a comprehensive cocktail selection. Enjoy the freshest dishes from warm buttermilk biscuits with honey butter to their signature Chicken n’ Watermelon n’ Waffles, sure to satisfy anyone’s taste buds. Mix that with the effortlessly elegant ambiance and a rustic interior, Yardbird brings a cozy yet refined feeling to guests.

Stand-out lunch selections to the Southern-inspired menu, include the Butter Lettuce & Grilled Mango Salad ($14) char-grilled mango, smoked pecans, tomatoes, red onion, benne seed vinaigrette; Deviled Eggs ($10) dill, chive, smoked trout roe; Fried Green Tomato BLT ($14) house smoked pork belly, smoky tomato jam, frisée, pimento cheese,
pickled lemon vinaigrette; Chicken ‘n’ Watermelon ‘n’ Waffles ($36) honey hot sauce, chilled spiced watermelon, Vermont sharp cheddar cheese waffle, bourbon maple syrup; To cool down from the chicken’s fierce bite is Yardbird’s signature Watermelon Sling ($13), a refreshing blend of Troy & Sons platinum white whiskey, fresh pressed watermelon juice and lemon balanced with rosemary and Aperol; Blue Plate Special ($15) two pieces of Lewellyn’s fine fried chicken, honey hot sauce chilled spiced watermelon, house-made buttermilk biscuit. Yardbird has a 27-hour brining process, dredging the chicken in a secret recipe of spices and flour, followed by the final step of frying to perfection; Shrimp n’ Grits ($28) seared shrimp, roasted tomatoes, virginia ham, nora mill grits, pbr chicken jus.

For supper, guests can enjoy savory fare including the Swine Burger 2.0 ($18) short rib, brisket, and chuck blend, house smoked pork belly, house pickles smoked gouda cheese, pickled onions, frisée, house fries; Smoked Backyard BBQ Chicken ($32) slow smoked & grilled 1/2 chicken, house-made bbq sauce, charred okra, house fries; Classic Buttermilk Biscuits ($7) secret recipe mixed with butter and honey is made by their talented pastry chefs throughout the day, honey butter, house-made jam – four served; Kale Salad ($13) vermont sharp cheddar cheese, apples, cornbread croutons, house-made moonshine raisins, cider vinaigrette.

For dessert (let’s hope it’s cheat day), Bacon Butterscotch Cake ($12) bacon frosting, butterscotch sauce, toasted pecans bourbon ice cream, candied bacon; Southern Cheesecake ($10) pecan ice cream, caramel sauce toasted pecan, chocolate sauce, toffee; Deep Fried Oreo ($10) oreo ice cream, chocolate sauce chocolate rice krispy; Peanut Butter Sundae ($10) vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, peanut butter bark.
