The city of Miami has spoken – Ultra Music Festival will stay in Miami. April 24th was the date for the city to make a decision after Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff and Mayor Regalado withdrew their resolution to ban Ultra Music Festival earlier this month. As a Miami-based company, Ultra creates jobs and attracts tourism to South Florida, creating over 1,800 direct jobs in the community and bringing in over $80 million in economic impact to the local economy. Ultra has vowed to continue to work closely with the City of Miami, the Bayfront Park Management Trust, City of Miami Police Department and other municipal partners, small business owners, and the local downtown community to ensure next year’s event will be a safe and fun environment.
