Now that the new year has come, it’s time to predict the future generation of hit-men. Check out our picks for the top 10 artists to watch in 2015!
Pep & Rash
Dutch duo Pep & Rash are the poster boys for future house anthems. Their much-hyped track “Rumors” was officially previewed by Spinnin’ Records as just an ID leaving everyone guessing. While still an ID “Rumors” received support from Hardwell, Oliver Heldens, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike any many more. Pep & Rash have definitely been able to create a lot of buzz in a short amount of time.
FTampa
Brazilian FTampa has carved out a unique sound of energetic festival bangers. He has gained the support of Martin Garrix and Hardwell who are usually the first to preview new FTampa tracks. 2015 is sure to be a big year for FTampa.
Tom & Jame
Young upcoming Dutch duo Tom & Jame are a favorite of Dannic. They also caught the attention of Calvin Harris to remix his hit “Blame.” That remix has already received over 200,000 plays on Soundcloud. Expect to hear the name Tom & Jame a lot more in 2015.
KSHMR
The name may be new but KSHMR, Niles from Cataracs, has been making music publicly and behind-the-scenes for a number of years. He’s worked on hits such as “G6” by Far East Movement and “Hey Now” by Martin Solveig. Under new alias KSHMR he teamed up with Firebeatz on “No Heroes” and most recently took the Beatport number one spot with R3hab on “Karate.” Keeping his identity under the radar Spinnin’ Records has relied solely on the music and amazing video work to win over fans.
Riggi & Piros
American teeangers Riggi & Piros won over W&W who recently released “Crank” on their imprint Mainstage Music. 2015 will see more releases on Mainstage and a collab with Borgore called D.A.R.E..
Still Young
Mysterious “new” duo Still Young appeared out of no where in 2014 with the support of Steve Angello. Steve Angello released “Midnight” on Size Records and made them part of the Size family. Since then they have collaborated with Kryder, Tom Staar, and label boss Steve Angello himself for a forthcoming release.
HIIO
South American duo Ortzy & Nico have been a festival favorite to local audiences. 2014 saw Musical Freedom release their track “Good Enough” which was hand-picked by Tiesto and destroyed festival stages from Tomorrowland to Ultra. HIIO are definitely ones to watch in 2015.
Ibranovski
At just 20 years old Ibranovski has had releases on Doorn Records, Spinnin’, and Smash The House. 2014 saw him play Tomorrowland and he was named by Dimitri Vegas as an artist to watch. Ibranovski is sure to be hot property in 2015.
Redondo
Dutch duo Redondo are all about infectious happy beats. Their funky, deep and tech-house sounds on tracks such as “Sunshine” and “Something Else” have a been a favorite of Tiesto, Oliver Heldens, R3hab, Sander van Doorn, and many more.
Dave Till
Discovered by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike is Belgian Dave Till. The Smash The House member collaborated with Blasterjaxx in 2013 and had a number of banging releases on Smash The House Records. Most recently Dave Till was selected to be the opening act at Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Bringing Home The Madness World shows in Antwerp and Mexico City.
