Hakkasan Group's Epic EDC Week Recap 2017 – TURN UP THE BASS

OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace hosted its own legendary EDC celebration beginning Thursday, June 15 with Armin Van Buuren. Famed EDM artist Hardwell stunned the audience when he made a guest appearance during Van Buuren’s set, making a pit stop at the premier venue before playing the festival the following day. Hardwell addressed the audience and hyped up the already energetic crowd, creating an unbelieve atmosphere in the grand main room of the top nightlife destination. Meanwhile, Illenium packed the outdoor Terrace and gave an unbelievable performance for guests to enjoy while taking in stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip.

The party continued Friday, June 16, with Martin Garrix and Justin Mylo taking over the DJ booth at the nighttime hotspot. Garrix, who was fresh off his set at EDC, gave another incredible performance that kept guests dancing until the early hours of the morning. Swedish DJ duo Axwell^Ingrosso kept the EDC celebrations going and treated guests to an incredible set Saturday, June 17. The legendary weekend concluded Monday, May 19 with EDM icon Zedd, as celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was also spotted enjoying a night out at the premier venue. The infamous television personality was reportedly in high-spirits as he spent time with his two guests at a VIP table next to the DJ booth.

Down the street at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub inside MGM Grand, EDM fans from around the globe flocked to the nightlife destination to celebrate EDC Week in true Vegas fashion. Hardwell and Kill the Buzz kicked off the iconic weekend Wednesday, June 14 with a night to remember as Brazilian soccer player, Neymar joined the party. The celebration continued Thursday, June 15 with a packed house for Kaskade and CID while game show host Drew Carey was spotted amongst the throng of clubgoers. On Friday, June 16, world-renowned artist, Steve Aoki took to the DJ booth and wowed the crowd with an unforgettable set, while fellow artists Mike Jones and Oliver Heldens also came out to enjoy the night. Calvin Harris and Generik brought the party as he spun his chart-topping hits to a thrilled crowd Saturday, June 17, and NGHTMRE rounded out the quintessential weekend Sunday, June 18 as partygoers danced and sang along into the early hours of the morning.
JEWEL Nightclub inside ARIA Resort & Casino started the week off early Wednesday, June 14, with legendary electronic music artist Jauz taking over the DJ booth to give guests a high-energy performance. The pre-EDC celebrations continued with a special party hosted by DJ Mag that included a performance by Oliver Heldens Thursday, June 15, where the iconic DJ spun his electrified hits until the early hours of the morning. JEWEL resident DJ Irie took over for “The Good Life Fridays” the following day as NBA Championship winners the Golden State Warriors were spotted hosting an exclusive celebration. The premier nightspot rounded out the star-studded week with GTA playing Saturday, June 17, and Party Favor taking over for an energized edition of “Flawless Mondays” June 19. Guests were also treated to a surprise live performance by music artist NJOMZA as she arrived with Party Favor to perform their single “Caskets” for the unexpecting audience.

1 OAK Nightclub at The Mirage kept the party going all weekend long. The nighttime hot spot provided clubgoers with an alternative to electronic music with memorable nights featuring DJ sets by Lil Jon, Wednesday, June 14, DJ Shortkutz, Friday, June 16 and DJ Que Saturday, June 17.

The Bank Nightclub at the Bellagio Resort & Casino invited guests to party in Vegas style throughout the weekend with hits spun by DJ Que Friday, June 16, DJ Wellman Saturday, June 17 and DJ Karma Sunday, June 18.

The party never stopped as guests hit WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino throughout the weekend before making their way to the speedway. Commencing the festivities Thursday, June 15, electronic group Above & Beyond took over the DJ booth as poolgoers danced and splashed in the packed pool. The non-stop party continued with an unforgettable set by Armin Van Buuren Friday, June 16 as the high-energy crowd celebrated into the early hours of the evening. On Saturday, June 17, resident DJ Tiësto took to the stage and performed his chart-topping hits for the energetic crowd. Afrojack continued the party Sunday, June 18 as guests enjoyed champagne showers during the WET REPUBLIC’s iconic ”Endless Sundays” celebration. Rounding out the monumental EDC Week Monday, June 19, the daytime hot spot transformed into Aoki’s Playhouse as resident DJ, Steve Aoki, hosted a “Late Checkout” celebration with Dim Mak. The renowned DJ, along with special guest DJMax Styler, kept the party going until the sun went down.

Partygoers were treated to a jam-packed week in honor of EDC at LIQUID Pool Lounge at ARIA Resort & Casino beginning Wednesday, June 14 with Bijou. The party continued Thursday, June 15, with NGHTMRE and Illenium, both of whom played at the festival the next day, followed by Cash Cash, Friday, June 16. Oliver Heldens played to a sold-out audience Saturday, June 17, which included several players from the Golden State Warriors who were seen continuing their celebration at the premier dayclub. Norwegian DJ Matoma wrapped up the weekend Sunday, June 18 with an incredible performance for poolgoers to enjoy.

The luxurious Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage kicked off its EDC celebrations Thursday, June 15 with DJ Zsuzsanna followed by DJ D Miles Friday, June 16, DJ Nova Saturday, June 17, Greg Lopez Saturday, June 18, and Kid Konrad Monday, June 19 for “Industry Mondays.”
