Avicii paved the way for this new sound with his groundbreaking chart-topping album ‘True.’ “Black & Blue” features Avicii’s signature catchy melodies and the talents of Aloe Blacc & Mac Davis who were both on hand to perform with Avicii at Ultra Music Festival Miami 2013. Aloe Blacc supplies the vocals in “Black & Blue” and is also the memorable voice behind Avicii’s hit single “Wake Me Up.” Mac Davis, a legendary country music singer/songwriter who wrote for Elvis Presley, penned “Black & Blue” and was one of the masterminds behind “Wake Me Up.” He also sings on “Black & Blue” and was the original singer of “Wake Me Up” on the demo version.
