The Dutch duo formerly known as NO_ID have changed their name to NEW_ID. The Axtone Records artists are best known for their unique production style that landed them a stint last summer supporting Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso at Departures Ushuaia Ibiza. Coming up next for NEW_ID is a remix along with Axwell for Mutiny UK & The Mac Project’s “Feel The Pressure,” which is forthcoming on Axtone Records. As for the reason for the name change, we can only speculate it is because there is a well-known rapper who has already been using the name No ID since 1989. According to Wikipedia, he worked as a co-producer and sometimes ghost producer for Jermaine Dupri.
