Ultra Europe Day 1 Recap & Live Sets | TURN UP THE BASS

The first day of Ultra Europe was nothing short of epic! The beefed-up main stage was a huge improvement over last year’s inaugural effort. Day one featured performances from Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Fedde Le Grand, Above & Beyond, Pretty Lights, and many more. Check out the recap and enjoy the live sets!

Showtek

Showtek played an early set, warming up the crowd nicely with a medley of their own smashes including a new remix for David Guetta & Avicii’s “Lovers On The Sun.” They were joined by vocalist Sonny Wilson for a live rendition of “Booyah” to close out their set.

Fedde Le Grand

Fedde Le Grand kept it loud with tech-house. Highlights were his new single “Twisted” and “Cinematic,” a sing-a-long progressive anthem featuring the vocals of Danny White.  The track will be released on Fedde’s second studio album due for release early next year.

Martin Garrix

Next up was festival favorite Martin Garrix who kept energy levels high with a crowd-pleasing set of bangers, anthems, and a new unreleased unnamed track from himself.

Above & Beyond

English trance masters Above and Beyond kicked things off with Arty’s remix of “Hey Now” by London Grammar.  “Blue Sky Action” featuring Alex Vargas, an unreleased tune rumored to appear on their next album was a defnite highlight along with the throwback A&B remix/bootleg of “Blue Monday” by New Order.

Hardwell

Leave it to Hardwell to close out the main stage with a bang!  As expected a high-octane energy-soaked set was delivered filled with unreleased Revealed bangers.
