A Behind The Scenes Look At Daft Punk's Grammy Performance Set | TURN UP THE BASS

There is no doubt Daft Punk took home the night at this year’s Grammys! The French robots won every category they were nominated in taking home a total of five Grammys.  Daft Punk also performed live on TV for the first time in 6 years and were joined on stage by Stevie Wonder, Nile Rodgers, & Pharrell Williams.  After their performance Hollywood prop-specialist Jim LoGiudice posted behind the scenes pics of Daft Punk’s stage set up on his Tumblr.

He had this to say about the set:

“Tino Schaedler and Optimist Design teamed up with Daft Arts to create this amazing mid-century modern design set. Check out the old school audio equipment integrated into the set. Very cool. The recording booth is patterned after the “Mother” space craft control room from the movie Alien. The robots gold mirror mixing console actually worked and was played live.

(set construction and prop fabrication by Vision Scenery)

Awesome.”
